Full Professor and researcher since 2006 and Director of the Department of Agriculture (2009-2015) at the Polytechnic University of Marche (Italy). Director of the Doctoral School of Agriculture. Nearly thirty years of academic research careers, in which he has focused on different aspects of fruit breeding, biotechnology, cropping systems and fruit quality and consumer health benefits. Standard field programs on breeding and breeding systems are combined with laboratory studies applying new breeding techniques (cisgenesis and RNAi) to introduce important new traits (disease resistance and fruit quality).
PhD in Industrial Engineering, Cum Laude and International. Pre-doctoral stay at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest through a grant awarded by Cost Action FP-1306. Postdoctoral research stay of 2 years at the Czech Technical University (CTU), granted by Postdoctoral Fellowship Program. He has published 10 papers in high impact scientific journals and initiated a novel line of research.

Telecommunications Engineer from the University of Cantabria. Architect and software analyst, began professional career in 2004. Specialized in Microsoft technologies, business intelligence, and project management (PMP). Is an associate professor at the Escuela Politécnica Superior.
Degree in Computer Science from the Complutense University of Madrid. MBA from ISEAD Business School. Project Management Professional by Project Management Institute. At Viacore IT, Director of Business Development. Project Manager, ICT project management for more than 10 years, allowing the delivery of projects within the cost and deadline. Security Manager at EMCANTA. Sodercan Group Security Committee, adaptation of EMCANTA to RD 1720/2007. ICT consultant in the implementation of the CRM of the Social Security.

Eduardo García Villena

D. in Project Engineering: Environment, Safety, Quality and Communication from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and Master in Environmental Engineering from the University of León. As a researcher, he has experience in environmental and CSR issues with emphasis on the integration of environmental management systems, quality and occupational risk prevention in the company.
