He was nominated as general interventor of the Cantabria Government on February 2018. Before, he was the manager of the Agencia Cántabra de Administración Tributaria or president of the board of directors of the Sociedad Regional Coordinadora de Empresas Públicas.

Rubén Calderón Iglesias

Former General Secretary of the Miguel de Cervantes European University and director of the Chair of Family Business. His line of research is focused on the analysis of the demand for education and the employment of graduates.
Rubén Pérez

Graduate in Hispanic Philology, UNED, Master in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, UC-CIESE Comillas and PhD in Hispanic Philology, UAB. He has taught at university level in different centres. He is also a teacher trainer and postgraduate lecturer on the Master's Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language, UC-CIESE Comillas and the Master's Degree in Teacher Training for Compulsory Secondary Education and Baccalaureate, Vocational Training and Language Teaching, UNEATLANTICO. He is a member of several research groups.

PhD in Cultural Studies (Goldsmiths, University of London), MA in Cultural Studies (Pontificia Universidad Javeriana de Bogotá), MA in Linguistics Applied to the Teaching of Spanish as a Foreign Language (Universidad de Jaén), and BA in Modern Languages (Pontificia Universidad Javeriana de Bogotá). Translator and researcher focused on language, culture and ethnic minority studies.
