Bruno Mezzetti

Full Professor and researcher since 2006 and Director of the Department of Agriculture (2009-2015) at the Polytechnic University of Marche (Italy). Director of the Doctoral School of Agriculture. Nearly thirty years of academic research careers, in which he has focused on different aspects of fruit breeding, biotechnology, cropping systems and fruit quality and consumer health benefits. Standard field programs on breeding and breeding systems are combined with laboratory studies applying new breeding techniques (cisgenesis and RNAi) to introduce important new traits (disease resistance and fruit quality).
Degree in Biology and Doctorates in Neuroscience. Hs worked as a researcher in the area of Neurophysiology, studying the role of neuromodulators in the development of various neuropsychiatric diseases and epilepsy. Currently, university professor of biological subjects applied to health sciences.
PhD in Industrial Engineering, Cum Laude and International. Pre-doctoral stay at the Polytechnic University of Bucharest through a grant awarded by Cost Action FP-1306. Postdoctoral research stay of 2 years at the Czech Technical University (CTU), granted by Postdoctoral Fellowship Program. He has published 10 papers in high impact scientific journals and initiated a novel line of research.

Carlos Eduardo Uc Ríos

Doctor of Science in Electronic Telecommunications. Professor at the Universidad Europea del Atlántico and the Universidad Autónoma de Campeche in the area of electronics and communications with research in the field of wireless communications.
PhD in Sports Science, Physical Education and Healthy Physical Activity, with a Master in Research in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences, both from the University of Vigo. Professional experience as a physical trainer and advisor in the preventive area in professional women's indoor soccer teams at national level. His main lines of research are: physical exercise and health, performance in team sports, injury epidemiology and injury prevention.
BA in English Philology (Deusto), MA and PhD in Hispanic Linguistics from The Ohio State University (2017) with a thesis on copula processing in Spanish. He has taught both at university level and in secondary education, both in Spain and in the USA. Researcher in theoretical syntax and semantics, as well as the interface between structure, meaning and language processing.
