Francesca Giampieri
Faculty of Health Sciences
PhD degree on “Food, Health and Drug”, Specialization in Food Science, she is currently Distinguished Adjunct Professor at the King Abdulaziz University (Saudi Arabia) and Professor of International Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics at the Polytechnic University of Marche (Italy). She is the author of about 150 papers in international peer-reviewed journals. In 2019 and 2020, she has been named a Thomson Reuters Highly Cited Researcher and listed in the World’s Most Influential Scientific Minds in Agricultural Science category. She has an extensive experience in field of biochemistry and nutrition, in the evaluation of the role of dietary bioactive compounds on human health, and in particular on the biological mechanisms related to oxidative stress and inflammation
Guillermo Martínez Bárcena
Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities
Director of the Cinema Club of the University of Cantabria and the University Film Library. He has more than 15 years of experience in the training and dissemination of the seventh art through courses and seminars on film history and film analysis in various universities (Spain: University of Cantabria and the Pontifical University of Salamanca; Mexico: UNAM and TEC of Monterrey; USA.: University of Berkeley).
Gunita Broka

Master's Degree in English Teacher Training from the Universidad Católica San Antonio de Murcia. First prize in Rap2Win contest organized by Edelvives publishing house at national level, C2 Certificate (Cambridge), participation as a performer in the recording of the Hollywood movie Taken 3.
Helena Garay Tejería
Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities
Photographer. BA in Fine Arts, postgraduate in Photojournalism and Master's Degree in Direction of Film Photography. She teaches photography in the Undergraduates in Journalism, Audiovisual Communication and Advertising.
Iago Hermida
Faculty of Health Sciences
Graduated in Physical Activity and Sports Sciences, has spent a year at the High Performance Sports Center in Soria. Thanks to the knowledge acquired there and the Master in Research, carried out first publication: “El tenis desde un punto de vista fisiológico” (Tennis from a Physiological Point of View). Currently continues with their studies in High Performance Sports.
Ian Amieva
Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities
Degree in Graphic Design from Universidad Loyola del Pacífico, Mexico. Master's Degree in Photography from TAFE Queensland, Australia. Long professional career as a graphic designer, art director, digital animator and illustrator.
